Alltraders v Wide Eyed and Legless

16th June 2000 - 19:00 - Attendance : 3 - pitch 4

Well, with only one point from three games, even Alltraders would have to agree that things haven't exactly got off to the best of starts. The only vague crumb of comfort is that maybe, just maybe, they have already met the best two teams in the league. A qualification place now is looking increasingly unlikely, and with an ever changing squad even a win seems to be stretching the laws of probability to the limit.

Yet again, Alltraders started the game with two regular players missing - Paul Burton had a previous engagement with a Caravan to keep, and Sal was busy doing something. So, tonight we expect back the services of Gavin (Warren's mate) and a new starter to the Alltraders' lineup, Steve Wake.

Well, that's what we thought. A phone call two hours before kickoff ruled out Gavin - so it was Kevin's 14 year old son as the fifth man tonight. What preparation.

Here are some pictures from the game, another woeful 4 - 1 defeat for an ill-prepared Alltraders that look to be in their last ever competition.
