Alltraders v B&CE 'b'

03rd August 2000 - 19:30 - Attendance : 6 - pitch 4

Game 11, team 9. Tonight Andy was unable to attend due to work commitments, but we welcome the return of Tony Good after a brief spell away with food poisening.

Tonight's match report will be a pictorial one because I've done enough work for one day and I can't be bothered to do any more, so sit back and enjoy Kirsty's pictures for the last time this season...

Kevin knocks in goal number one
Tim let's fly with the outside of the right foot - there's only one place this ball is heading!

Paul back in defence Kevin is easily beaten in midfield!
An opposition attacker let's fly Tony battles in midfield

Count the legs The opposition support cheer their team on with
some jovial banter

Paul still battles
Goal one for Tony ..under the 'keeper pick that one out!
Goal two for Tony ..under the 'keeper again 'I do not believe it!'

So, another enthralling season comes to an end. Andy may possibly be cursing his decision to work tonight as now the golden boot is to be shared between him, Tony and Kevin - all on five goals. Tim comes a close second with four. One record maintained was Tony's 'goal a game' tag. Four games, five goals.

Interestingly, Alltraders scored the third most goals in the league with 19 from 11 games, even though they only won three of them. As usual it was the defence that let them down, but it all makes for entertaining football! (so I'm told).

Anyway, Alltraders will return in October with a more consistent team to tackle the winter competition.

When will we ever learn...

Final Score:

Alltraders 4(2) - (0) 0 B&CE b
Kevin Burton
Tim Leader
Tony Good (2)
